In jaw-dropping news: police yesterday searched the home of Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez as part of a murder investigation. As if the Patriots wanted more press right now.
In exciting news: for the first time, the NFL Rookie Symposium will include speakers on the issue of sexuality, and especially sexual orientation and the possibility of having a gay teammate. Y’all know how much I love Rookie Summer Camp, aka the Rookie Symposium, so I’m pretty excited about this new edition.
In didn’t we already hear this news? news: Rob Gronkowski underwent another surgery in the off-season, but is doing well and the hope remains that he will be back by the start of the season.
In unexpected news: Brian Banks’ accuser has been ordered to pay $2.6 million in damages for her false accusation of rape back in 2002. The money would go to the school district she sued at the same time, citing and unsafe environment. Brian Banks continues to be an inspiration as he trains for a comeback with the Atlanta Falcons.
And finally, in the most anticipated news: HBO has announced that the Bengals will be starring in Hard Knocks this year. Find out what to expect this season here.
